This Prickly Pear Jelly is truly a "Farm to Market" product. The fruit is wild grow in rural Archer County, Texas. The Pears were hand picked, at much peril, from wild cactus plants. The juice was carefully extracted and the Jelly was made in a commercial kitchen in Garland, Texas. The pear juice is not diluted giving in a unparalleled flavor and dark color. We have been producing this Jelly in our home kitchen for several years for friends and family. We are excited to be able to transition to a commercial kitchen to provide it for sale this year.
