
This Prickly Pear Pancake/Waffle Syrup is truly a "Farm to Market" product. The fruit is wild grow in rural Archer County, Texas. The Pears were hand picked, at much peril, from wild cactus plants. The juice was carefully extracted and the Jelly was made in a commercial kitchen in Garland, Texas. We have been producing this syrup in our home kitchen for several years for friends and family. We are excited to be able to transition to a commercial kitchen to provide it for sale this year. We hope you will enjoy it as much as we have. The syrup is great for margaritas and cocktails. It is also great on pancakes, waffles and french toast! We have created 2 varieties of syrup. The cocktail syrup is a thin syrup ideal for drinks/cocktails (listed under a separate listing). The Pancake syrup is a thicker syrup ideal for pancakes/waffles.
